How Curie generated 200 influencer social posts with only free product

The Brand

Curie is a female-founded personal care brand that makes clean deodorant that actually works. You may have seen Curie’s founder Sarah land a deal with Barbara Corcoran on Shark Tank, or have seen Curie products offered in Equinox Clubs and Soul Cycle rooms nationwide. 

The Task

Curie was approaching a huge accomplishment for any DTC brand—launching their product in Walmart. As they prepared for this milestone, they needed to build serious brand awareness through influencer and paid marketing.

Aligned Growth worked as an extension of Curie’s small but mighty marketing team to (quickly) build out a full-scale creator program and UGC content funnel.

The Results

After seeding product to a few hundred creators, we had built an army of Curie superfans who genuinely loved Curie deodorant. 121 creators like  @kira.sutherland shared on socials about their authentic experience, and 46 creators specifically promoted Curie’s arrival in Walmart (i.e. @todaywithdavid)

In addition to 450k collective views on Instagram and TikTok and 25k engagements, Curie took home 200+ pieces of content to amplify in paid media.
